My passion is in educating others. Besides a sparkling crown – I wear a few hats, during the day I’m an apprentice nail tech and at night I’m a ghost tour guide, guiding travelers through a forgotten era of our history.

As a self styled History Hero, I also believe in serving those who serve. I do just that by volunteering with a company that delivers cookies and cakes to US Naval Academy midshipmen for their birthdays and other special occasions. I also regularly advocate for those who are in housing crisis situations (not limited to domestic violence survivors, adoptees, and veterans) seeking to find them transitional housing or a home of their own.

Hailing from the capital of our gorgeous state & ready to serve you as your next Miss Maryland, I am Miss Annapolis, Marla Henderson!
