Description
I consider myself the modern-day woman, someone who can do it all with the help of my extremely supportive family. My husband of 16 years and I met in an unusual place, Iraq, but we are forever grateful to the Army for “introducing us.” Together we have 4 beautiful children who continue to keep us on our toes.
My family and I love spending time together whether it’s for family game nights or working in our local community. My children inspire me daily and are the reason why I decided to start my non-profit, Catalina’s Playground. Our mission is to help rehabilitate playgrounds in under-resourced communities and provide a safe environment for families and children.
I have had the opportunity to meet inspiring women as I travel across the US. Their stories as well as messages of hope and growth can be heard on my podcast, The Dandelion Movement.
