Lori Brown is a Dream Case Manager with the Dream Factory of Greater Kansas City. She first became involved with the 100% volunteer organization that grants dreams to chronic and critically ill children over 6 years ago after attending a benefit concert where a child was presented their dream onstage. It was after that moment she realized she wanted to become a part of the magical journey of granting dreams to sick children and their families who live each day not knowing what the future may bring. A dream granted adds a little ray of light, a little bit of hope, and a lifetime of memories.<\/p>\n
Lori and her husband Ed have been married for 28 years. They have two children, Colby 30 and Rylie 25 and are Mi Mi and Poppy to 2 year old Melody (Melli). <\/p>\n
In Lori\u2019s spare time she enjoys playing with her granddaughter Melli. She also walked in her first fashion runway show during Kansas City Fashion Week where she auditioned with hundreds of other ladies for a spot on the model roster. She loves volunteering for Going To The Dogs Caring for K9\u2019s an organization that raises money for police dog vests. The Ronald McDonald House where she has been in charge of putting together a team for her location for the past 6 years for Red Flag Friday selling Chiefs flags with all proceeds benefitting the Ronald McDonald House. Lori became a Beauty For Good Ambassador last year and is looking forward to some exciting projects in the near future. She also enjoys decorating and remodeling her home as well as landscaping and planting flowers in her yard. She and her husband love to travel to their villa in Belize where they love learning the culture of the beautiful country. <\/p>\n
She is also the mom to 4 fur babies Bentley, Bandit, Bella, and a feral cat named Beasley.<\/p>\n

As a local titleholder Lori would embrace the opportunity to become involved with the Victoria\u2019s Voice Foundation which is the corporate philanthropy of the Mrs. America organization to raise awareness of drug overdose and substance abuse. The Foundation was created by David Siegel after he and his wife Jackie lost their beautiful daughter, Victoria, to a drug overdose on June 6, 2015. She was only 18.<\/p>\n
