Description
Cause: Mental Health Matters
The Victoria’s Voice Foundation is a beacon of hope in the fight against addiction and overdose. This non-profit organization is dedicated to advancing initiatives, seeking policy changes, developing programs and projects, and supporting those created by other credible organizations, all with the aim of preventing addiction and saving lives.
At the forefront of this mission is Anya Kod, a visionary leader and passionate advocate for mental health. Despite facing her own challenges and traumatic experiences related to the misuse of substances by others, including almost losing her life three times, Anya refuses to be a bystander in the mental health and substance use crisis in America. Instead, she has taken action and created a platform for change “Mental Health Matters.”
As the Founder and Executive Director of a non-profit mental health organization. Anya is a licensed marriage and family therapist and accomplished author. With a Master’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts, Boston, and over 12 years of experience, Anya provides solution-focused therapy to individuals, couples, children, parents, and families. Her latest book, “Chill Mode: The Ultimate Guide to Relaxation,” is a testament to her commitment to the mission of the Victoria’s Voice Foundation, with partial proceeds going towards supporting its cause.
Anya’s work has earned her recognition and numerous awards, and she is a sought-after speaker and educator at numerous conferences across the nation. She has also appeared as an expert in her field on national television networks such as PBS, FOX, CBS, and NBC.
In her personal life, Anya is happily married to her high school sweetheart Michael and together they are raising three wonderful boys. As a family, they live life to the fullest, embracing their creativity and seeking out new and exciting adventures, such as skydiving and swimming with stingrays. Anya and her family believe that life is meant to be lived with joy and purpose, and they embody that spirit every day.
