Sarah Nicole Ortiz is proudly representing the city of Albuquerque NM. The metropolitan center of vibrant culture, history, and tradition.
Born in Silver City NM, and raised in the Mining District, at heart she is a true Grant County Native. Graduating from New Mexico State University, with a degree in Business Administration in Marketing and a minor in Accounting, she now roots for both I25 rivals of NMSU and UNM.
Since the age of 20, Sarah has dedicated her career to healthcare, currently she is a Home Health Care and Hospice Consultant. She advocates for her patients and family during their most difficult time. Having to enlist Hospice services for her own father in 2019, is what sparked her passion for her platform on “End of Life Care; Navigating the Process.”
Balancing her professional life with family time and the rich traditions of her New Mexican Hispanic culture, she finds inspiration in her nephews’ achievements in wrestling, as they have been named state champions in their respective weight classes.
Sarah passionately shares why New Mexico is magical to her, reflecting her deep-rooted connection to both Albuquerque and her hometown and upbringing in Silver City.
