Description

Greetings, everyone! My name is Faithful Byrd and I’m thrilled to introduce myself as Miss Volusia County. My journey began after high school in 2013 when I pursued a degree in TV Broadcast and Spanish from Oakwood University, an HBCU. Fueling my thirst for knowledge, I earned a degree in Organizational Management from Andrews University. Despite the hurdles of COVID-19, in 2020, I boldly moved to Orlando, Florida, where I completed my second master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from AdventHealth University.

Beyond academics, I’m a passionate entrepreneur, founding FB Rentals for Airbnb stays and becoming an bussiness owner having my store and promoting healthcare organic products. However, my true joy comes from serving others. I’m deeply involved in advocating for the homeless, volunteering with SALT, a nonprofit aiding those in need in Sanford and downtown Orlando.

My journey as a Christian artist has taken me worldwide, using music to share Jesus’ transformative message. Music holds profound significance in mental health advocacy, serving as a powerful tool for healing. Through my music, I aim to amplify awareness for mental health challenges, fostering a culture of support within our communities.

In addition to entrepreneurship, I find immense fulfillment guiding ninth-grade students in English. Alongside roles as a bestselling author, podcaster, and Christian actress, I prioritize personal growth. With a steadfast dedication to compassion and resilience, I’m committed to making a tangible impact in our world, one step at a time.

As an educator, I’m acutely aware of pressing issues like mental health and substance abuse among students. Through Victoria Voice, my advocacy platform, I staunchly advocate for mental health awareness and substance abuse prevention. Together, we can create a supportive environment where students feel empowered to seek help.
