Description
Valerie Duke, Mrs. Troy, lives with her husband Kevin and their 25 pound tuxedo cat named Dukie and their adorable puppy named River.
Kevin and Valerie met 24 years ago when she was working as a teacher at a daycare. Valerie has a daughter Melissa who has blessed her with a grandson in February.
Valerie has worked as a cook at the Operating Engineers Training Center for the last 14 years.
Valerie has been developing a program Bee-lieve in Yourself. This program teaches people the importance of both mental and physical health. It encourages people to live their best life.
Valerie talks about believing you can overcome any challenges life has dealt you. That your past does not define who you are. Your future can be anything you want it to be. She talks about no matter what size or shape you are, you can live a happy and healthy life.
Valerie is an advocate for heart disease awareness. Since she lost both her parents to this disease, she wants everyone to know the signs, symptoms and how to prevent it.
Valerie always reminds people they can do anything they “beelieve” they can because this is their world.
